Every Guitar Player Can’t Live Without Line 6 Stomp Boxes
March 9th, 2010
When Line 6 put out their DL-4 Stompbox in 2000, a Delay modeler pedal, little did they understand the critical acclaim this “little green monster” would establish. Coming from Phil Keaggy to Eric Johnson, a multitude of world-class guitarists use the DL-4 as a go-to delay pedal. Why all the bother? What makes the DL-4 Delay pedal such a favorite product amidst guitarists? First of all, the Line 6 DL-4 includes 16 delay pedal models made from similar vintage delays as the Maestro EP-1 Echoplex (a personal favorite of Eric Johnson) to the T.C. Electronic 2290. It includes models from such effects brand names as Roland and also Electro-Harmonix, just to name a few more.
Plus, it has a built-in 14 second looping process, consisting of backwards looping. The moment not within looping mode, it is easy to store as much as 3 presets. Plus, you will find a tap-temp footswitch, so that you can set the particular delays to match the tempo of the music that you are jamming. If these sound attributes weren’t adequate, the Line 6 DL-4 Delay is also developed to hang around. It can be a little green tank! I think, I’ve owned one for about 6 years, and even though it is beat up to be certain, it still ends up sounding as perfect as it did when I first purchased it.
