Hand me an senior archaeologist with a whip any day
October 17th, 2008
I just last week grabbed Kingdom of Crystal Skull Blu-ray and I must admit it’s stronger than I expected it to wouldbe. When we last caught Indiana Jones on screen, it was 1938, and the earth stood on the verge of war as Dr. Jones tracked down sinners to find the Holy Grail. Some nineteen years afterward, he’s cracking his whip once more, and numerous things have changed … but many have remained the same.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull stars the forever crazy Harrison Ford. It stars too the stunning Cate Blanchett and equally macho Shia LaBeouf and directed by the great Steven Spielberg. The movie grossed a solid $316 million at the box office since it’s release.
Hand me an aged archaeologist with a whip any day over a gun-toting secret agent sipping Martinis under the codename of 007. The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull holds up to its hoopla and provides a great deal of definitive Indy moments. Welcome back Indiana – the senior Ford still races like new!
